AirTest Receives 1,000 Unit Order For New Energy Saving Compressor Management Technology

DELTA, BC, June 18, 2009 –- AirTest Technologies (TSXV: AAT) has received an initial order for 1,000 units from Energy Innovation Group LLC (EIG) for the Smartcool™ ECO3 TM, a new technology that better manages the operation and energy use of existing refrigeration and cooling systems. As a long-time distributer of AirTest products, EIG has had great success in selling AirTest products through customized building energy efficiency upgrade programs developed in partnership with utilities, local governments, school districts and large property owners in Southern California.

The ECO3 TM manufactured by Smartcool Systems Inc. (TSX:SSV), is a unique, add-on compressor management technology that adds smart, adaptive, intelligent control to compressors for refrigeration and air conditioning applications. This control system results in significant energy savings. Cooling units using these types of compressors can be found in millions of building worldwide including telecom providers, restaurants, retail stores, schools as well as most commercial and industrial spaces. Energy savings typically range form 15 to 30%. A key feature of the ECO3 is that it tracks and displays actual energy savings. “Until now there has not been a viable way to improve the performance of smaller compressor based air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. The ECO3 opens up a vast new market for energy upgrades that offers us an awesome potential for ongoing sales”, Said Sid Pelston, President of EIG.
